2023 Election: Ebonyi Government House Belongs to PDP – Anyim, Egwu, Others

The Ebonyi State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, have reaffirmed its stance to take over power in the state come 2023.

The Bigwigs of the party in the state who spoke at Salt Lake hotels Abakaliki, on Saturday, 18th September, 2021 during the party State Executive Committee meeting assured members of their efforts to reclaim power in the State during the general elections.

Speaking during the gathering, The South-East, Vice Chairman of the party, Mr Ali Odefa, said that PDP has all that is needed to take over the state in 2023.

According to Odefa, “do not panic, come 2023, no man born of woman can write result against PDP.

Also, the Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, commended the stakeholders for trusting in the party.

He urged the youths not to allow themselves to be used as instruments of destruction in society.

“If we should be peaceful in all our activities as Members of People’s Democratic Party PDP, people would like us and as well vote for us during the election because of our comportment Remain focused with PDP and you will not be disappointed,”

In his remark, the Ebonyi State chairman of PDP, Elder Fred Udogu, commended members of the House of Assembly, Senators from the state and others for their maximum support and sustainance of the party.

Udeogu  said, “They have made sacrifices, showed steadfastness and given support to the party which needs to return to power in the state.

“My gratitude also goes to the south-east Zonal committee for their supports as well,” he said.

The Chief Executive Officer of Egobekee foundation for better living, Chief Nwakaego Rosemary, urged PDP not to forget the enormous role of women in society.

Egobekee, therefore, urged PDP to always include women in all their leadership positions.

The Youth Leader of the Party, Mr Chidiebere Egwu said youths would be revived again in Ebonyi if PDP takes Over Ebonyi and Nigeria in the next election.

representing Ezza South in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly. Hon. Chris Usulor urged party members to hold firm their local governments towards achieving victory.

“We must shun rumours and activities capable of distracting unity in the party.”

The meeting was attended by senators representing Ebonyi North, Senator Sam Egwu, Ebonyi South Zone, Senator Ama Nnachi and of Ebonyi Central Zone, Chief Obinna Ogba.

Also Members representing Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency, Mr Anayo Nwonu, Mr Idu Igariwe of Affikpo North and South Federal Constituency, Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency, Mr Chukwuma Nwazunku, Ohazara/Ivo Federal Constituency, Mr Livinus Makwee and Izzi/Abakaliki Federal Constituency, Mr Sylvester Ogbaga were also present among other party faithfuls.
