The wife of the Ebonyi Governor, Mrs. Mary-Maudline Nwifuru, has demonstrated her commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals in the state.
Nwifuru on Monday, visited patients at the Community-Based Rehabilitation foundation (CBR-EFFATA) in Ugbodo, Izzi Local Government Area, and donated food items and funds to indigent patients.
During her visit, Mrs. Nwifuru prayed for the patients’ quick recovery and urged them to devote maximum time to their treatment.
She emphasized that the gesture was aimed at alleviating the suffering of the indigent patients.
The Director of the foundation, Mr. Job Oyebe, expressed gratitude to Mrs. Nwifuru for her continued support to vulnerable groups in hospitals and the society.
Patients and beneficiaries, including Mrs. Nkemdirimu Mba and Mr. Michael Nwajioha, commended Mrs. Nwifuru for her kind gesture and sense of humor, which brought joy to the patients.
The donation included bags of rice, garri, and cash gifts, which were distributed to the patients and their caregivers.
Mrs. Nwifuru’s act of kindness is a testament to her compassion and dedication to improving the lives of those in need.
