In a total display of love, solidarity and support for excellent leadership,
Over three thousand youths, women and elders of Ndiagu Amagu Ward 11 in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, on Friday, staged a solidarity walk in reaffirmation of their unfettered confidence in the leadership of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, and the unequalled representation of Rep Chinedu Ogah, the member representing Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Reformatory Institutions.
The crowd who chanted solidarity songs matched from Edukwu Agalegu to Item Amegu village square to register their support for the duo, describing them as God-sent leaders to Ebonyi State.
Speakers took turn to eulogize the leadership prowess of Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah and enumerated some of his life-touching achievements in the community and beyond.
The National President, Ndiegu Amegu autonomous community, DSP Michael Chukkwu rtd. said; “We’re here on solidarity for Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, member representing Ikwo and Ezza South Federal Constituency.
“We applaud his works, his pivotal achievements in this ward and entire Ikwo and Ebonyi in general. He has brought a lot of development to this place. You can see market here, you can see town hall, you can see hospital, you can see school. You can see ongoing road construction. We want him to continue with his developmental project. We’re with him and will continue to stand with him”.
Another stakeholder in the area, Chief Boniface Mkpuma, described Chinedu Ogah is a great leader and a God gift to the community and the state. According to him, “Chinedu Ogah has done noble. He gave job to our children, even my own son, he gave him job. He cares for the downtrodden. He has given scholarships, gave motorcycle to our youths. We’re in support of him, in the morning, in the afternoon and evening. He is a great leader and we want him to continue”.
Speaking also, Mrs Christiana Nwonu and Mrs Mercy Ukwa, said Chinedu Ogah stopped them from doing menial jobs, gave them fertilizer during farming season. Pays school fees for their children, register WAEC and NECO for their children,built market, hospital and pay hospital bills for the sick. “There’s nothing he is not doing for us, he gave jobs to our children. Anytime you call him wether in the midnight, he will answer you. He payed Jamb fees for all our children. He gives job to graduates. The women of Ndiegu Amegu ward 11 are saying that he will go back to the house and continue to represent us”.
Others who spoke during the event include a director in the state, Hon. Mike Nwachukwu, Chief Stephen Ogodo, Nwankwo Otteh, among others condemned the social media attack on the person of Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah and urge the general public to discard the false and misleading information being spread him as it cannot be proven by any reasonable person.
“We’re not happy with the way some people are tarnishing the image of our son. We want it to stop forth with, because all they are saying are false. We want the general public to discard such misleading comments as it cannot be proven by any reasonable human being. They are just trying to pull him down, but it’s not possible. He is a child of destiny and he has been destined to succeed and he’s doing us well and we’re happy with him and that is why we are passing vote of confidence on him today in his ward. As long as he’s there, we are protected. As long as Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is our governor, we are protected”, they echoed
