Alex-Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki, (AE-FETHA) has said it will henceforth punish in line with the public service rule, any staff of the institution found engaging in ponzi schemes.

This was revealed in a release signed by the Director of Administration, Mr. Callistus Okonkwo, and made available to journalists in Abakaliki.

The Director, condemned the involvement of some staff of the hospital in such scheme, either by participation or as agents, describing it as serious misconduct punishable in line with the public service rule.

The Head of Administration in the release, also expressed worry that some staff, department and group of persons indulge in money lending and borrowing with the objective of making gains.

“The management describes such act as serious misconduct punishable in line with the public service rule.

“The management has henceforth prohibited such activities and therefore warns that any individual, unit, department, or group of persons caught in the act shall be punished accordingly” he reiterated.

Those who pay N5, 000 will get N50, 000 and N10,000, gets N100, 000 and so on.
