AE-FUTHA Director Bags award as UN honours eminent Nigerians

The Director of Finance of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki, (AE-FUTHA), Mr. Ugamah Sylvanus Nwosulor have been honoured with an award from the United Nations International Parliament For Safety, Peace and Justice.

Mr Ugamah who was honoured with other eminent Nigerians for their contributions and accomplishments in various fields of human endeavors in a befitting ceremony held at the National Merit Award House, Abuja, and attracted dignitaries across the country appreciated God, his family and the entire AE-FUTHA staff for having stood firmly behind him in prayers.

THE VOICE gathered that the event was honoured by His Eminence SA’AD Abubakar III the Sultan of Sokoto as the Royal Father of the day, Honourable Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, Hon. Sunday Dare – the Minister of Youth and Sports, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume as the Chairman of the occasion and others.

In their different reactions to ugamah’s award, the immediate past Chief Medical Director of AE-FUTHA, Professor Olisaemrka Paul Ezeonu said he was happy with Mr. Ugamah and prayed for his further achievements and remembrance by other groups while the hospital’s Chief Medical Director, Dr. Emeka Onwe Ogah said it is just a beginning for Mr. Ugamah as more laurels will still be coming his way, describing him as a hard working man.

A staff of the Accounts department, Mr. Giddy Onwe described their Boss as a goal getter, saying that the award did not come to him as a surprise because God, according to him has made it to be like that, and shall always be at the fore-front while serving humanity.
