The chairman Association of Local government of Nigeria (ALGON) Chief Moses Ogodali has called on the newly inaugurated Governor of the State, Rt.Hon. Francis Nwifuru to focus on improving the workers welfare in the State when he becomes the Governor of the State on Monday, May 29,2023.

Hon.Ogodali who also doubles as the chairman of Ezza North LGA made this known while speaking with THE VOICE in Abakaliki.

The chairman lauded the State governor, Engr.Chief David Umahi for his Infastructural development in the State, describing him as a magician of infastructure, stating that the Governor has laid his footprints in the sands of time, and cannot be erased.contribution.

He advised the incoming governor, Nwifuru to consolidate on the good works of the incumbent governor and focus on the areas that received less attention during the present administration.

Arguing that the civil servants needs to be motivated through promotions to increase the productivity of civil servants in the State.

” In the quest to change the narrative of the State, the civil servants have not gone on promotion as they ought to. They have not been converted as they ought to.

“I think for Ebonyi to grow every hand must be on deck. Every civil servant have atleast one 4 dependants make it two children, the wife and the father, if we are able to grease the task of the civil servant, take it from there the society will grow faster, a society that the civil servant are not doing well, can not grow, “he said.
