The notice is contained in a statement issued by Dr Kenneth Ugbala, Secretary to the State Government on Wednesday in Ebonyi.

“The recruitment did not follow due process stipulated by the state government.

“All employment conducted by the institution’s management from 2019 till date are hereby nullified,’’ part of the statement read.

According to Umahi, the state government is struggling to pay the salaries of the institution’s workers, yet the management of the institution is employing more people.

“All concerned are directed to take note and ensure strict compliance with this directive.’’ it stated.

THE VOICE gathered that a committee was set up by the State government to investigate the alleged illegal employment by the Provost and the Bursar.

The committee headed by Hon. Barr. (Mrs) Elizabeth Ogbaga was charged to find out all employments made in the institution from 2019 till date and to find out whether due process was followed.

It was however discovered that the recent employment from 2019 did not follow due process hence the infinite suspension of the Provost and Bursar.
