The witness said “the mother of the little boy, Orioma Agha, had finished bathing the baby in front of their house that faithful morning, she left the baby outside to go and get stuffs from inside for dressing the baby up. On coming back outside, the baby was nowhere to be found.

“she managed on her own to search for the boy close-by to know if she could find him, all to no avail. So, immediately, she raised alarm and some people came to her aid.”

“Yesterday being Wednesday 12th day of October, some neighbors narrated how they saw the Uncle of the missing child (paternal), covering the little boy with his cloth as he was taking him away while others said so many things.

The source revealed that the youths of the community and other neighbouring villages could not hold their anger as they gathered, dragged and beat the suspects with the use of digger, Axe, knife and other weapons.
“Ogbonnaya confessed he sold the little boy for #500,000 to a lady from Mgbom with the help of a sacked police officer who is not even an indigene of Ebonyi but from Umuahia (he’s on the run now.” The witness said.
