The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Ebonyi State Chapter has elected new leadership.
The election took place at the NUT House, Abakaliki, Tuesday.
Addressing Journalists at the end of the election, the new Chairman, Comrade Bonbless Obasi thanked Ebonyi workers for the trust they reposed in the new crop of leaders.
He assured that the new Leadership would work hard to seek improved welfare for Ebonyi workers.
Other members of the State NLC leadership in Ebonyi State include: Comrade Anthony Oko Ewa- Vice Chairperson 1, Comrade Boniface Nwankwo-Vice Chairperson 2, Comrade Ejike Nwangwu-Treasurer, Comrade Titus Nwali -Auditor 1, Comrade Benard Otubo-Auditor 2, Comrade Esther Ebere-Exofficio 1 and Deaconess Veronica Osim-Exofficio 2.
The new Leadership is elected for a term of four years.
