Management of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki, AEFUTHA, has dismissed claims that collapsed three-storey building under construction belongs to the institution

This is coming sequel to news reports making the rounds that the building under construction, collapsed inside the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki on Tuesday evening.

Reacting when contacted, the Head of Corporate Communications and Media, AEFUTHA, Udeze Ezinwa Kelvinerice, told The Voice Newspaper that the collapsed building just shares a fence with the hospital and does not belong to the establishment

Udeze reiterated the assurance of the Chief Medical Director, Prof Robinson Onoh, on the establishment’s dedication to the delivery of quality healthcare to the public across the state.

According to her: “The building does not belong to AEFUTHA. It just shares a fence with our hospital. I wonder how people are reporting it as belonging to our hospital. It is not the hospital’s building.

” The Chief Medical Director of AEFUTHA, Prof Robinson Onoh, assures the public that AEFUTHA is dedicated to the service of quality healthcare delivery and everyone should dispel their minds on any rumour of collapsed building in AEFUTHA.” Udeze stated
