Ebonyi State Commissioner of Police, CP Faleye S. Olayele has reiterated the readiness of the Command to provide adequate security before, during and after Easter celebration in the State.
CP Faleye stated this in a statement signed and made available to the press on Friday, April 7, 2023 to felicitate Christians in the state as they commemorate the death, reserrection and ascension of Jesus Christ.
He disclosed that an operation order has been issued to Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders and DPOs on security measures in their respective areas for peaceful conduct during the period.
He said, ”the CP assures the good people of Ebonyi State and even those in diaspora who intend coming home for the festivities of adequate security and safety during and beyond the celebrations.”
He expressed readiness of the command to employ professionalism in the course of discharging their duties in safeguarding lives and property.
The CP further thanked Ebonyians for their unalloyed support and reminds them that policing is everyones’ responsibility and urge them to report any suspicious activity within their communities to the nearest Police Station or call the Command emergency line 07064515001.
