The Management of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki, (AEFUTHA) in Ebonyi State has  said that there is no job recruitment going on in the establishment contrary to speculations.

In a statement signed by the Director of Administration of the establishment, Mr Callistus Okonkwo and made available to Journalists in Abakaliki, the management warned the public not to fall prey of the antics of fraudsters as any notice of recruitment will always be advertised in National Dailies.

Okonkwo said the worst of it all, is that the fraudsters use the name of the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Hospital, Dr. Emeka Onwe Ogah, as his agent.

According to the statement, “the worst of all, is that they front the name of the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Hospital, Dr. Emeka Onwe Ogah, as his agent”.

“Management is by this notice alerting the general Public that there is no job recruitment going on at AE-FUTHA much more asking people to bring money, as recruitment is always advertised in National Dailies”.

The Director said that management of the institution would not give a hitch to discuss any matter concerning bribering for job appointment in the institution.

“The general public is therefore warned in their own interest never to fall prey to those wolves as they may be taking a risk that they alone will be liable to.

“The Management also shall not be in a position to discuss any matter concerning giving out of money to anyone, as they never asked anybody to collect money on behalf of the CMD or any other member of the top Management. Please be warned”. It read.
