The Governorship candidate of Action Alliance , Engr.Chukwuma Nwandugo has debunked the rumours making rounds that he has withdrew from the 2023 gubernatorial race.
In a statement signed by the Director General of the Action Alliance Governorship Campaign Organization in Ebonyi State, Prince Michael Obasi, and made available to news men, the party condemned the rumour, describing it as the handiwork of desperate politicians who are desperate for power.
Engr. Nwandugo stressed that “the news is completely fake as it is the handiwork of some desperate politicians to deceive members of the public especially esteemed supporters of Action Alliance in Ebonyi State and it’s Governorship candidate, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo.
He described the rumour of his withdrawal from the race as figment of the imagination of some desperate politicians, describing it as “one of the antics of some desperate and drowning politicians aimed at deceiving members of the public to join their fold.”
Adding “these crop of politicians are already threatened by the wide acceptance, massive support and solidarity Action Alliance and it’s candidates have continued to receive from Ebonyians and other residents of the state ahead of next year’s general elections.
“We wish to state categorically that the Governorship candidate of our great party in Ebonyi State, Action Alliance, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo has no intention to withdraw from the 2023 Governorship race and will never withdraw from the race. His Governorship ticket is intact and he is still very strong in the race,” He stated.
However, the Gubernatorial Candidate appealed to his teeming supporters to disregard the rumour and continue to work and pray for his victory, maintaining that the party will never be deterred from their goal to ensure the delivering of good governance in the State come 2023.
