The Ebonyi State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru GGCEHF, FNIOB, has announced national and overseas scholarships for aspiring M.Sc. and Ph.D. students of Ebonyi State origin.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Prof. Grace Umezurike Secretary to the State Government, and made available to newsmen.

The statement reads : “The People’s Charter of Needs.” As a part of this commitment, the government of Ebonyi State is delighted to announce national and overseas scholarships for aspiring M.Sc. and Ph.D. students of Ebonyi State origin.

Areas of government interest include:

a. Computer Engineering
b. Data Analysis
c. Software Development
d. Automobile Engineering
e. Chemical Engineering
f. Industrial Chemistry
g. Environmental Science Engineering
h. Pharmacy
i. Medical Laboratory
j. Robotic Engineering
k. Aeronautic Engineering

Eligibility:

All first-class and second-class upper holders in relevant fields are eligible to apply.

Interested applicants of Ebonyi State origin should submit an application letter, photocopies of relevant credentials, and two (2) passport photographs in a file jacket with the course of interest clearly indicated on the file.

All applications are to be submitted to the office of the Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Centenary City, Abakaliki, no later than November 17th, 2023.

All qualified Ebonyians are encouraged to seize this invaluable opportunity provided by the divinely elected Governor of Ebonyi State to contribute to the advancement of our great state.”
