Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has approved the appointment of Hon Patience Ogodo as the Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Board, UBEB.
He also appointed Dr Livinus Ezeuwa as the Secretary of the board.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor made this known in a press release on Thursday.
According to the release, Barr Samuel Okonkwo and Mr Chijioke Nwuzor were appointed by the governor as the board member one and two respectively.
Hon Julius Nwokpo was appointed as the board member three.
“The Governor of Ebonyi State His Excellency *Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB, GGCEHF* has approved the appointment of the following persons as Chairman and Members of the State Universal Basic Education Board UBEB. They are:
1. Rt. Hon. Patience Ogodo – Chairman.
2. Barr. Samuel Okoronkwo. — Member one.
3. Mr. Chijioke Nwuzor — Member Two.
4. Rt. Hon. Julius Nwokpor– Member Three.
5. Dr. Livinus Ezeuwa– Secretary.
Their names have been forwarded to Ebonyi State House of Assembly for Screening and confirmation.” The statement read.
