Member representing Ohazara/Onicha/Ivo Federal constituency in the federal House of Representatives, Hon. Livinus Makwe has bemoaned the inability of the All Progressives Congress, APC led government in protecting her citizens from the rampaging insecurity in the country.

Makwe made this known in an interview expressing optimism that come 2023 the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP if voted into power would return the nation to its past glory.

The lawmaker lamented on the number of killings across the country as he also raised alarm over the increasing level of hardship faced in the country due to the high exchange rate of dollar, with little or no effort from the federal government to put an end to it.

He stated that the only way to salvage to the situation was for the people to elect PDP into every position of power come 2023.

According to him “When PDP was in power, yes, there was insecurity but it was attended to and resolved. But now nobody can move about, Students are not going to school because they will be kidnapped, some of them cannot even write WAEC exams and therefore they drop out completely in one year.

“Look at the dollar to Naira, what it is today, look at the hardship of the people, nobody can even buy food. Farmers cannot even go to farm to even farm”.

“So none of them have ever happened in this country before and the only hope for this country is for PDP to come into power in 2023 and re-do what they know how to do best, to put the country on track and make it safe.”

He described the party as a peaceful party, which is free fr rancour and ready to deliver the best to the people.
