Nollywood Actress Pat Ugwu Passes Away at 35
The Nigerian film industry has been struck by tragedy with the passing of actress Pat Ugwu at the age of 35.
The news of her demise was announced by her colleague, Emeka Okoye, on Instagram, accompanied by a funeral poster outlining the arrangements for her burial.
Emeka Okoye paid tribute to Pat Ugwu, writing: “Rest in peace sis. Pat Ugwu… May your soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.”
Fellow Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko also expressed her shock and sadness at the news.
The burial of Pat Ugwu will take place on February 7, 2025, with a wake scheduled for Thursday, February 6, 2025.
