All Progressive Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Ebonyi North Senatorial zone, has declared that the National election exercise, that would be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, would be victorious.

Nwebonyi, the former commissioner to Ebonyi State government on Capital Territory, made this declaration while speaking with the newsmen at his residence in Abakaliki.

He disclosed that his optimism was based on the fact that candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Dr Sam Egwu stood no chance in the forthcoming elections and wasn’t a threat to his victory.

Stating “from what I’m seeing the coast is clear, by the grace of God we will be crossing to victory.

“My major rival is not a threat to me, I have defeated him even before today. So it is not a problem”.

He maintained that it would be a landslide victory for candidates of the All Progressive Congress, as the Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu would also emerge victorious.

Nwebonyi who assured Ebonyians of the ability of the Presidential Candidate to deliver on campaign promises, accused the labour party Presidential Candidate of been decietful, stating that he has nothing to offer Nigerians.

“Peter Obi, what did he do specially when he was the Governor of Anambra? I used to assess him with two things when he was Governor of Anambra, this erosion control funds, what did he do with it? The flood of last year that destroyed houses in Anambra.

“Look at Anambra to Enugu, is now that the road is being fixed. Peter Obi is the worst Presidential candidate I have ever seen. He has nothing to offer, he is deceiving Nigerians.

“When it is our time to produce President , we will bring a credible president, like Gov.David Umahi.”

He assures Ebonyians to come out in their numbers to vote, and ignore any threat from Indegenous People’s of Biafra (IPOB) who declared sit at home.

The former commissioner further reaffirmed his commitment to keeping his promises of effective representative if he emerged victoriously.

“I want to seize this opportunity, to promise my constituents, that they will receive effective representation. They can judge me from the positions I have held before now.

“With what I’m doing, I promise that I will do more, most importantly in the area of youth empowerment and job creation, because the insecurity we are witnessing today is as a result of joblessness among the youths.

“So we must do something to create jobs for our youths.” He assured.
