Food Stuff dealers inaugurates EXCO Members in Ebonyi

The Executives of ‘Truth is life’ Food Stuff traders Union ONUEKE branch has been inaugurated with Chief Linus Edigbo (JP) as Chairman to pilot it’s affairs for the next three years.

The Nine man Executives who were elected Unopposed has chief Linus Edigbo as Chairman, Deacon Stephen Nweke Secretary. Chief Fidelis Aluma Treasurer, Mr Nwafor Samuel vice Chairman. Mr Ogbonnaya Nwafor Financial Secretary, Mr Igwe Elias Assistant Secretary. Mr Uche Oduburu Public Relations officer. Mr Ogbonna Nwokoye provost II,. and Chief Emeka Nworie Chief Task Force.

Inaugurating the newly elected Executives, the former Chairman and Patron of the Association Chief Anthony Alo charged them to maintain the brotherliness, transparency, honesty, and relative peace that has been existing in the Association over many decades of it’s formation which according to him has enabled them to achieve unprecedented success as stressing that he has led the Association for over 17 years without recording any court case what so ever.

Chief Alo while expressing gratitude to God and members for peace and successful election and inauguration also expressed confidence on the ability of the newly elected Executives to deliver on the mandate of the Union including welfare of it’s members and complementing the efforts of the present Administration under Engr David Nweze Umahi to ensure food sufficiency in the state through low pricing without exploiting the people and prayed for God Grace and Protection upon all members.

On his part the second patron of the Association Chief John Chukwu Okorie said the election reflected zoning formula entrenched in the Union and advised the new Executives on the best way to lead the members and appreciated the State Governor Engr David Umahi and Chairman Ezza South Local Government Area Chief Kenneth Eze for their purposeful and people oriented Leadership which has given boost for the image of citizens and the state through the federation and prayed God to bless them.

In acceptance Speeches. the new Chairman Chief Linus Edigbo and the Secretary Deacon Stephen Nweke appreciated members of Truth is life Food Stuff Traders Association for founding them worhy to lead them and promised never to disappoint them but will rather strive to justify the confidence reposed on them especially through upholding the union core value of transparency, accountability and welfare of it’s members.

They lauded the State Governor Engr David Nweze Umahi, the State Commissioner for a Market Development Pastor Eze Nwachukwu , and Chairman of Ezza South Engr Kenneth Eze for their gaint infrastructural transformation and quality leadership in the state which they said usually accord them some significant respect each time they travelled to other states to buy thier goods and re affairm their unfliching support to the present Administration to enable them do more for the good of common people.

Others who spoke include Treasurer Chief Fidelis Aluma. Financial Secretary Mr Ogbonna Nwafor and Mr Oduburu Uche public Relations Officer of the Association Commended the out come of this electoral process and assured that the newly executives to work shall work with boldness and honesty in reflections of the Association Constitution in order to set a standard.

The inauguration climax with solidarity songs in support of President Muhamadu Buhari and Governor David Nweze Umahi with thier quality Leadership especially in the areas of critical Infrastructure, Human Empowerment among others.
