The incumbent Governor of Ebonyi State Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru has appointed a university don, Prof. Grace Umezuruike as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Mr. Monday Uzor, he stated that the appointment of Prof. Umezuruike starts with immediate effect.
It reads:
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has approved the appointment of Prof. Grace Umezurike as Secretary to Ebonyi State Government.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
She will be sworn – in on Tuesday 13th June, 2023
