The chairman of Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi State, Bar. Sunday Nwankwo, Tuesday, called on political appointees from the area to show loyalty to the state government.
Bar. Nwankwo who described the present government as ‘youthful’ tasked the appointees to put their energy and deploy it to move the state forward. That if such is done, there will be a quantum leap of development in the state.
He thanked the governor for appointing some Ikwo sons to the government
“I feel great and have a high sense of indebtedness to the Governor who today proved that he has a strong bond with us today.
“You will recall that today Ikwo has the speaker of the 7th house, Deputy principal secretary, and SA internal security, commissioners and others.
“Our expectation from them is to exhibit total loyalty and steadfastness to the government.
“The appointment of Ikwo indigenes is not clustered to one ward, the HAG is from Echara, Alike has only 2, while the others are spread across the LGA.
“It’s youth o clock globally and we have tasked and admonished them to channel their energy and deploy it to move the state forward. We expect that with this done, there will be a quantum leap of development in the area
