The 12 Wards in Afikpo North benefited as 2 students were picked from each ward while Ozziza autonomous community got 4 slots.

Mr Elechi said that the scholarship is in furtherance of the determination to open more school doors and close as many prison gates as possible as they target orphans and the less privileged.

” we started this foundation a year ago and in October, November last year, we kicked off in Ozizza by hosting a football tournament for the ladies.

“This was an avenue to harness their talent and pick the best in the football field that we can sponsor in her football career by building a formidable football team for the people.

“In December we also distributed gifts to the widows and disabled person across the 12 political wards” he said.
